Rebuilding and modernizing old pipe
organs The modern organ action, ...the
things that make it work, has improved over time to where
maintenance is low and reliability is high. Modern consoles have
highly integrated control systems with very little to wear out.
Blowers are quieter. Key contacts and stop switches can have very
long life. Tradition and function come together in a new
organ.
Creative approaches
to confined spaces Thinking and building outside
the box can solve some very crowded situations, and look good,
too.
Organs where no
space was planned Many churches were
built with no space planned for an organ. When the congregation
wants an organ, creative thinking finds ways to install
it.
Traditional consoles for the
organist Upholding past traditions is much more than appealing to
a certain look for the console. Years of training and experience is
passed from generation to generation with consistency because
the consoles conform to standards established by the American
Guild of Organists for console design, standards recognized
worldwide to facilitate easy playability and location of the
organs control features.
Eye-line
Consoles improve communication When the organist is also conductor
of the choir, good visibility is essential. Consoles are built in
our own shop to meet the needs of each church. Whether a new
console built to traditional designs or a custom-fitted console is
needed, the organist will feel comfortable from the very beginning.
Before the new
building... The organ spaces should be
planned and built into the new facility. The organ should be
being built simultaneously in the Temple Organ shops. To
make good successes like this happen, contact Temple Organs at the
same time you begin the architectural design.
